UK ’Small Business leaders challenge traditional business ‘norms’

The majority of business leaders (94%) judge staff by the results they achieve rather than time spent in the office’, according to a new survey of 1500 owners and senior managers of SMEs. The research by T-mobile found that UK small businesses are challenging the traditional norms of doing business successfully. Age is no longer considered as a barrier to success, approximately one half (47%) of those surveyed did not believe you have to be over a certain age to be trusted as a business leader, the survey also found.  Almost 40% of businesses owners no longer see an issue with going into business with friends or family.
