Small Business News | World Cup copyright warning for businesses

Over the last couple of months, we’ve seen all types of businesses making the most of the opportunities for profit that this year’s World Cup presents, any why not? However, this morning, The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) and legal experts have warned that businesses could, unknowingly, be breaking copyright laws.  The list of things that can get them into trouble is extensive, for example,  phrases like “South Africa 2010”, “FIFA World Cup” and even images of the trophy itself are protected under intellectual property laws.
