Small Business News | Bank lending to small firms still a mixed picture

According to a news story on the BBC, the monthly average total of new lending to small firms has been in decline over the last two years.  Figures from BBA figure show that lending to small firms across the UK banking industry totalled £991m in 2008, falling to £633m in 2009, and £566m in 2010 so far.
